Isaac

The littlest one: Isaac

oh its that season. the season of christmas songs, men in big red suits, and candy canes. Its the season that’s so much fun, but can be a little bit hard on them jewish people… :) For me, it’s not too bad. In fact, not bad at all. My mom was christian (methodist, i believe) and then she started thinking about converting to judaism. (yea mom!) and then she met my dad, (who  is jewish) and so, that kinda confirmed her feelings. So then, my mama converted. But the rest of her family is christian. (duh, it wasn’t like a family convert…ing… session…) So during this time of year, me and my little family of four treck all the way to western pennsylvania to a little town called Brookville (population: maybe 6000… maybe!) :) aw how cute. About 7 hours in the car, good traffic. It’s a long way, but it’s 100% worth it. Why? Because it’s the only time of year that ALL my family is there. My grandma, my great aunt, my oldest cousin, the spouses, everyone all the way down to little baby isaac (my cousin once removed)! Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, because i get to see EVERYONE. :) I am surrounded by people I love. So, i don’t technically celebrate the religous part of christmas, but the christmas I know and love, is really important to me and is the “most wonderful time of the year.” :]
